Young Musicians, Apply Now for The Schubert Club's Scholarship Competition The Schubert Club Student Scholarship Competition, held each spring, awards approximately $50,000 annually to young musicians. Applications are now being accepted, and the deadline is January 4, although some categories may fill up before that date.

International Artist Series Recital Featuring Stephen Hough, piano, Tuesday, November 20, 7:30pm With a singular vision that transcends musical fashions and trends, Stephen Hough is widely regarded as one of the most important and distinctive pianists of his generation. This is Stephen Hough's debut recital with The Schubert Club. Tickets are still available.

Music in the Park Series Recital Featuring Aulos Ensemble with Dominique Labelle, soprano, Sunday, November 25, 4pm  The Aulos Ensemble has been at the forefront of the Early Music movement in America since its founding in 1973. The Ensemble performs throughout America and Europe, often collaborating with guest artists in order to present unusual and rarely performed repertoire. For their Music in the Park Series concert, the Aulos Ensemble is joined by the renowned Canadian soprano Dominique Labelle. With a voice that has been described as “angelic,” “silvery,” and “vibrant,” Ms. Labelle is lauded for her probing explorations of repertoire from the Baroque to new music. Together they usher in the Holiday season with a program titled "A Baroque Christmas." limited availability

Cocktails with Culture - Happy Hour Event, Nov 8
We are excited to announce a new concert series that will feature some of the best Twin Cities talent in the 2nd floor gallery space of the Landmark Center. These concerts will take place during "happy hour" and drinks will be available for purchase. Remaining concerts will take place on November 8, January 10 & February 14. Presented by the AAW Gallery of Wood Art, Landmark Center & The Schubert Club

The Schubert Club's Museum was featured on tpt's Minnesota Originals in October 2012. Watch the segment in the videoclip above. The Gilman Ordway Manuscript Collection, which has grown to more than 100 letters since its opening in 1985, contains pieces of correspondence from such notable composers as Mozart, Rachmaninoff and Liszt. The Manuscript Collection is housed at The Schubert Club in Saint Paul, across from The Ordway Center.
