She has assisted many soloists who have won first place awards and scholarships in area competitions. Her experience as an oboist in orchestras and wind ensembles, as well as an opera coach, complements her work as a professional accompanist. Kerri has performed as a soloist with the Minnesota Orchestra and other orchestras. Kerri earned degrees from Oberlin Conservatory and the Peabody Conservatory of Music. While at Peabody, Kerri studied with the late Samuel Sanders, collaborative pianist for Itzhak Perlman, Mstislav Rostropovich and Jessye Norman, among others.
