The Dolce Wind Quintet was founded in 1995.  The woodwind quintet is made up of flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon.  These 5 instruments make up the core of the wind sound in a symphony orchestra. All 5 of the members of Dolce are freelance musicians around the Twin Cities area.  They play in other groups together in various combinations, including the Rochester Orchestra, the Mississippi Valley Orchestra, the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra, and more.

Recent public engagements include annual Courtroom Concerts at Landmark Center, St. Paul; several MPR events including Calhoun Square in Mpls and in Rochester, the Munsinger Garden concert series in St. Cloud, and annual appearances at the Contented Cow British Pub in Northfield.   Dolce will return to the pub in Northfield on Friday, June 6 at 7 p.m.!
