Denis Evstuhin Bio:

 Denis Evstuhin was born in St. Petersburg (Russia) in 1981. At the age of five, he started to play the piano and was accepted at the Okhtinsky Music Lyceum in St. Petersburg. After 1994 Denis continued his studies at that famous Central School of Music attached to the St. Petersburg Conservatory.
   

 In 1999, after successful graduation, Mr. Evstuhin was enrolled at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory (Academy) of music. In 2004, one of the top students in the class, he graduated from the Conservatory with a master of music degree.
He had master-classes with some of the best-known piano professors and performers such as Efim Bronfman, Dmitry Bashkirov, Lev Naumov, Michail Vosskresensky, Elisso Virsaladze, Jerome Rose and others.
    

Denis Evstuhin participated in many competitions, such as International Piano-e-Competition (Minneapolis / St. Paul, USA 2004, 3rd prize); Andorra International piano competition (2002, 2nd prize); Maria Judina International piano competition (St. Petersburg, Russia 2003, 1st prize), Rachmaninoff International piano competition (Los Angeles , USA 2005, 4th prize), Balakirev International piano competition (Krasnodar, Russia 2006, 2nd prize).
    

Starting at the age of 12 he has performed in major cities throughout Russia, Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Switzerland, Finland, Poland, Estonia, and USA. He was presented at the most prestigious venues, including the Mariinsky Theater, The Philharmonic Hall in St. Petersburg, The Conservatory Hall in Moscow, Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles.
He is currently a student of Alexander Braginsky at Hamline International Piano Institute (St. Paul, MN).
